No, there isn’t actually any excuse for why Finn/Rachel and Sam/Mercedes both got onscreen kisses while Kurt sat three feet away from his boyfriend and chastely held his hand while the nice straight people chaperoned his love song to his boyfriend. No, there also isn’t any excuse for why Finn and Rachel got discuss their future all up in the piece while Kurt and Blaine had that conversation off-screen.
